Hi,

I am trying to return an item to a seller on eBay.

I am getting pop-ups telling me that if I print the return address label provided that PayPal will charge me.

Does anyine know what the charge would be??  I would like to know ahead of time to avoid any possible surperises later on.

  Thank you for your help!

Does the seller agree to pay for return shipping, how is the label created?

if seller or paypal send you a label,it would look just like the label seller used to send you the item except ship to and return addr are reversed, the postage is the same as seller label and it would be charged to his Ebay seller account once you posted the item at the post office.

if not, then you pay return shipping and postage would be charged to your paypal account-paypal balance or bank fund

Hi garyps510,

When you start a return you always will want to do it through eBay first. Even PayPal will tell you to handle any eBay related issues through eBay first. Now, what you will want to do is go to your eBay & go to the return claim opened against the seller & the seller will provide you with a return shipping label which you will print out OR eBay will give you the option to just print a special return shiping label which you will print out & use to return your item. However, you have the option to either print your own label & then add tracking number to the claim or go to your local post office & have them give you a tracking with your shipment & add the tracking info to the claim. I recommend that you use eBay's special return shipping label OR the one provided to you by the seller so that you WONT have to pay for the return shipping. Then again, it also depends on the reason your returning the item back as well. Hope i helped clear things up. Best of luck to you & have a good one! ~AG.
