When I'm getting my refund?

I won a "new" Ipod, I paid right away and the seller contacts me to tell me that the new Ipod has a problem and doesn't work properly. I tell him that in that case I don't want it, so he cancel the transaction and I agree. When do I get my refund?. Please respond. Thanks

Can you not provide more info.

1. Was it ebay or private transaction.

2. How did you fund your paypal payment.

3. How did you send the money? Via ebay or privately.

4. If privately then did you use the gift or goods option.

It was an ebay transaction.

I paid trough Paypal.

The seller cancelled the transaction. I accepted.

OK then i would email and ask the seller to refund as cancelling the transaction does not refund you the money, he needs to go to paypal and click on the word "details" next to the transaction (if the issue refund is not by the transaction), and tell them to scroll down to the refund option.

If they do not refund then you need to file for item not received via ebay and if you can't then via paypal, make sure you escalate to a claim if the seller does not refund when you get that option.

i need help

i have been refund my money back on aug 24th and it said ill be refund with 2-5day and it been 5days and i dont see anything in my paypal account

I am suppose to be getting my refund from eBay seller. I pay through paypal, someone said in order for me to get my money back I have to link paypal to my checking acct, is this true? Also if it's not true and the money goes into my PayPal acct. then can I use it for future buys.As you can tell I'm a newbie
