PayPal stopped working on Ebay - gives error message

I've been using my PayPal account on Ebay for 2 years, and frequently for the last 3 months with no problems. For the last 2 days, when I try to pay for an item that I won on Ebay I get the error message: "Unfortunately, the funding source within your PayPal account was declined."   I have plenty of money in my debit account, it is not expired. I've been on the PayPal website and can't find any answers. the automated computer helper is useless. I have a $500 safety limit per month, but I've only used about half of it so far.

No luck, 2 weeks later. Have called PayPal 6 times at this point with no resolution. They claim they 'figured it out' and try again in 24 hours. Nothing. To look at my card, they charge and reverse, which then causes a fraud alert on my account

This looks like the same problem as in Aug.  All my Ebay sales are showing pending payments.  I'm getting questions from buyers asking why.  If it was just one I'd think it was their card or account, but it is 12 all at once.

I am also having this exact same problem...just when I wanted to buy a laptop with just 2 left in stock!

Same card for the last 2y, plenty of funds are available, daily limit not exceeded, no issues with our bank, card perfectly OK and working on other websites - what the heck?

same problem but with other message You cannot complete this action on the card you have selected. Please select another card. i think  Technical damage

Guys, here is my solution..hope it helps as I see nobody anweared this yet.

In my case: this message appeard as well: Unfortunately, the funding source within your PayPal account was declined.

I have enough funds, expiration date is 2014...and I paid Via PP on Ebay for last 2years without any problem.

So I have seeked some answears, and...yes, the problem WAS with my bank account!..I do not for what reason,

but my bank changed security settings. I just had to find out which one. My problem was that I had to allow "3D security" on my card, simple allow "yes". and..here we go,.. everything works fine just the way it used to work..

Just take your time and check all the settings with your e-payment/debit or credit card/...., you sure will fix this problem within few minutes.

I had to allow too the new"3D security" on my card /Thanks, ondrascz / and now everything works fine

I can buy on ebay.com but it doesen't work on ebay.co.uk,please what is the problem ??
