Ebay egg timer

I have sold an item on ebay and where the payment sign is there is an egg timer to say payment was initiated throughy paypal but when I go to paypal it say the last transaction could not be completed. I have however recieved 5 other payment with no problem but I have 3 payment with the egg timer symbol and won't complete. What is the problem?

Go and find the transaction in your “my ebay” > click to the right where it says sell similar > don't fill in anything just scroll down to the payments section > look in the paypal box > is the email addy in there correct with no spelling mistakes? If so then it would have been wrong on your finished auctions so come back for more advice.

Yes the email address was wrong so I aske the buyer to cancel the oreder and pay directly from their PayPal account using my correct email address but i am still getting the egg timer on ebay

Has the buyer paid directly? Are the funds in your paypal account balance?

If so then that is fine, it won't change on ebay as the buyer paid direct, but you can use the drop down list to the right to mark it paid if you want to.

Thats as long as its now showing in your paypal account balance.

Then next time you list an auction make sure you change the email addy and correct it during the listing process.
