I have bought many items via Ebay but am fairly new to selling on Ebay. I have multiple similar items up for sale, and have had a lot of potential Buyers asking about combining shipping for items, if they win more than 1.
I have no idea how to do this, or how it works - can anyone guide me thru the process? The items end tomorrow. TIA!

Here is what we generally do in this situation. Tell the buyer that if they win multiple items they will need to pay for all the items with one payment. Then once the items are packed and actual shipping is calculated, any shipping discounts to be had will be refunded from the payment.

Will it cause problems with the invoices that are automatically generated by PayPal/Ebay for the items, since we currently have shipping charges listed for each item, individually??

Hi akCorell.....
I would put a statement on your auctions about multiple winning auctions & including any special instructions you have, like ..All winning Auctions and combined shipping for items won within 3 day( or what ever you choose) period . Must be paid in One Paypal payment. . And not to go through the payment/checkout process until all their auctions have all ended.. ....And ((after you figure totals of auctions & shipping you will Generate an eBay invoice)) they will receive the eBay Invoice from you with a Total for all won auctions and Shipping.....and they can pay from this invoice (pay button)..& click on Paypal to Pay Invoice.
** I would also state that after their first auction is won, they email contact you to let you know which other auctions they have bids ( or buy now ) including the auction #'s so you can keep track...
And the total of everything MUST be paid in ONE Paypal payment and ship together to receive the shipping discount......
Paypal doesn't send an automatic invoice... You only need to send your eBay Totaled invoice after all auctions have finished.& you have calculated Auction Totals & Shipping (discounted )..that is why you want to make sure they do Not go through checkout and pay anything while their eBay auctions are ending....
Hope this will be some help to you....

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!
I will go back & put that statment in ALL my auctions, today!! You have been a great help! I was under the assumption that eBay automatically did the invoice, and included the shipping fee, since it's included in the listing. I didn't realize that we could edit them. Thanks!
