I have my paypal account set to use the balance before the credit.  Yet, my last transaction they did not pay it with my balance, they put it on my credit account.  Truth be told, I really prefer not to have the credit.  Please tell me how to remove that option from my paypal account.

You can call PayPal Credit, if that is the product you are referring to, to close the account:
