cant stop automated texts

For no reason I have started receiving automated text messages since 2013 I have never seen a single one. Then after 2 hours of back-and-forth a customer service they still don't know what to do to stop the automatic text messages. Yet I'm being charged every time I have to answer with an automated text message to make a transaction go through. Does anyone see a pattern here
