Trouble Adding Money to Paypal Funds (from bank account)?

Hi, I've been using Paypal for many years now without a problem. However, recently I have been trying to add funds to my Paypal account from my bank account and keep receiving an error message. I have tried to call Paypal customer support, and was told to try another browser (which I did) and then to try back another day when website traffic was lower. However, it's been several days now, and I've been trying at different times of the day without any success. Has anyone else been having this problem? I even tried from my smartphone and nothing!

What bank?

Bank of America. It's a checking account, and I've never had a problem transferring money before from it. I've been using it for at least two years now.

Suggest you phone PayPal customer service and talk to an agent who will take the time to look at your account details for a problem or an agent who will walk you through the necessary steps so they can see an error occur.  It will probably take multiple phone calls until you reach a knowledgeable agent.

It's several months since this intial post and I'm getting the same error the OP had (have been for over a week).  I use a different browser, same problem.  I called customer service and basically they 'checked things' and didn't see any problems, just told me to try later...days later, still having the problem.  Very frustrating since I was on the phone for a very long time.  I'll have to call back and try again, but sheesh.
