Setting up USA business account

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am the financial controller of a Australia company, we have a subsidiary in USA, we would like to set up a paypal account for my USA subsidiary. However, Paypal is asking me for SSN but i am not in USA so I dont have a SSN number.

How can I set up the paypal account?

Am I doing it correctly?

Can I set up a Aus paypal under our USA subsidiary?

You should call Paypal,inthe past a foreign businessman set up a US account with tax id,then Paypal asks for his SS number which he does not have,and his account was restricted.

The holder of the U. S. account must reside in the U. S.   You need U. S. credentials.
