How long did it take you guys that had to do a name change?

I didn't use my official name when I registered years ago, but now I want to use PayPal credit (which I am close to give up on doing and just buying in the store).

I put my request in over 8 days ago, then sent an email to customer service and havent got a response from either.

Does anyone even work at paypal anymore? You would think with the fees we would get 10 minute turnaround times...

So you register an account without giving your proper name and expect paypal to instantly correct your mistake for you??

Pity you did not open your legal financial paypal account with the correct name in the first place.

Normally 3-5 working days but can be a lot longer if they are busy.

Yes, I do. I am paying to use a service, I expect at the very least semi reasonable service. Not to mention I have had my paypal account 8 years, seems like it wasnt too much of a problem for them since I have to put my real name in for the payment meathods.

I have never had a bank or credit card company take over a week to respond, highly doubt over 24 hours, EVER. Paypal is not a non-profit organazation that I am asking fly out and wash my car for me, they are a company that charges extrememly high fees for a semi-monopoly credit card service on eBay, otherwise no one would use them.

I was told "the name change sometimes takes longer than normal customer service emails", thats a lie, my email to customer service was sent less than 24 hours after my name change request.

If you are a Paypal employee it makes sense the direction the company has gone. "Pitty on me.... Expect them to change it instantly" lolol its almost been 10 days!!

Yep thanks for proving my point, you didn't READ when you opened your paypal account and you can't READ now as you call me a paypal employee
