Can't change phone number

Hello, i lost my old phone number it closed, i want to remove my old phone number and add my new phone number in my account paypal.. but how ? please help me !

Jesus how I hate this ****. I can't change the number. I hate to pay from the tablet or phone everytime, I want to use the desktop sometime...and I can't. The phone it`s said it isn't registered on myself (normal, it's from my father's company), and a normal pre-paid one will not be accepted. What a bunch of ****, because I leave near the border, so I live in one country and work in another. What a shame, I registered from an IP in the work country, and from home I can't buy anything, because it says IP not your and stuff like that. Pitty that some websites use ONLY paypula to  receive payements.

You can't just delete the phone number and add a number?  Don't change, but delete and just add another phone number in the account.  

Phone number and companies having too much info issues are the reasons I did not enable access to PayPal account with mobile phone number.  More trouble than it is worth.  Just deactivate the phone number feature and just log on with browser and/or app with email address instead.  It works fine with all my devices. Then again, I do not live near border of two countries which could add to the problem too.

Those who are facing issues adding a new phone, make sure you are only entering 10 digit mobile number, and no country code. Unfortunately, the error message is misleading.

Just instead of "+" symbol need write "00". For example,  +**Remove** ->>> 00**Remove**
