Sort of Mobile Phone

I do have a mobile phone but a very antiquated one (ie pre smart phone).  The problem is that I have now (for no obvious reason) received a payment TO my MOBILE PHONE number which I can't access. I can't get it to appear in my (PC) account, so cannot actually have access to this money.  How do I get around this.

The sender's account is showing it as having been paid to me, cannot retreive it, and obviously isn't prepared to pay me again.

Hi @Andrew_381!

Welcome to the community! 🙂

I'm sorry to hear about this frustrating situation. Payments can be sent to an email address or phone number through PayPal. In order for the transactions to be received, the email address and/or phone number must be confirmed. Transactions will remain in an unclaimed status for up to 30 days if the email address or phone number is not confirmed. Unclaimed payments can be canceled by the sender and re-sent through a different method such as email address.

In this situation, it sounds like the best option would be to have the sender cancel the payment. They will then be able to re-send the payment to the email address.

I hope this information is helpful! 🙂
