⛔★ New SSL upgrade, will it affect HTTP site (none HTTPS), using PayPal Standard with IPN?

My HTTP OpenCart-2 site uses PayPal Standard for payments so customers are redirected to PP to finish the payment.  But my site also uses paypals IPN to record the purchase to my database.

Will this upcoming update affect my shipping cart?  If so what will happen?  

Will it completely brake the shipping cart or will I still recieve the money into my PP account but my OpenCart will not record the order to my OpenCart database?
