I'm not sure if this is more of an isolated issue but there are some issues with the mobile authentication/verification (two step security) when used for Paypal. One of the issues is that if you have it enabled and you need to make a purchase on eBay, you cannot sucessfully log into your Paypal account through the eBay app or through the mobile browser UNLESS you "request the desktop site" on the Chrome app on your iphone/android phone. It has been 2 years or more and Paypal says to make the purchase on the computer if you have 2 step authentication. Is it really that hard to implement a better integration between eBay mobile app and Paypal or having it make use of the Paypal mobile app? This is quite annoying and can be quite time consuming when having to make the purchase through the eBay mobile site on the Chrome browser (phone app).
Another issue or (possibly a suggestion though would be terrible if it isnt added): How come two step mobile authentication does not have the feature to remember your computer or device? Having this added would make it so much easier for users to use Paypal. Now I understand there are security issues if we do have it able to remember the device but then you can also add a feature to forget the device incase you lose your phone or your laptop gets stolen or your desktop too...? (for those who still use one like me). Most other companies do this such as Google or Yahoo or bunch of online banking sites or... well you get the idea. Anyway, I know that eBay does allow the option to remember your Paypal and have it authorized so you can make purchases quickly without logging into your Paypal but somehow it does not work at all for me with the two step mobile authentication enabled. I hope this gets fixed very soon. This issue looks to me like some integration issue where eBay cannot accomodate at all for users who make use of mobile two step authentication. It makes me want to turn it off but doing so comes at a great risk and I hate having to turn it off just to turn it back on again for these issues sometimes.
I hope I can get an official response from the Paypal devs or something. If you guys also agree, please post here and let them know. I think we can get something good out of this with more people letting them know that two step mobile authentication/verification needs to be fixed.
EDIT: Also, please integrate this into Paypal Community ( I probably mentioned this already but here is a screenshot to see what I am referring to...) http://puu.sh/mHu1W/21e2fd8ad0.png

Would be nice if we could find other people who believe in this as well. A better integration between two step authentication for Paypal and making purchases on eBay on your smartphone would definitely improve the customer experience.
I feel that having two step authentication is sort of a mini punishment to the users who have it enabled as they have to go through extra work just to secure their accounts... even having to go to the paypal home website to login because of two step authentication and then go to the forums instead of logging in directly is a pain.
I still wonder why Paypal can't have it so it can remember the computer you used your mobile device on to make things easier the next time the consumer wants to use the service. Is this really a hard thing to integrate in 2016?
Also, the link that I mentioned in my original post is dead but what I was referring to was if you try to login the Paypal Community Help Forums first without logging into your Paypal account first and you have two step mobile authentication enabled, the website asks you to log into the main Paypal website first and then go back to the Community Forum instead of doing all of this automatically.
