I received the two payments in my bank account and I also just received a reminder mail from PayPay saying that I should confirm my bank account.
I did not click on any link in any mail, but I just typed www.paypal.com in my browser (first I tried Chrome, next I tried Firefox both under Windows 7 and finally Safari on my iphone).
Everytime when I click on "Confirm bank account" I get the error message:
"You have requested an outdated version of PayPal. This error often results from the use of bookmarks."
I did not use any bookmarks to go to PayPal.
What's wrong?

I just called the local Dutch PayPal help desk and they say it is a known problem. They are working on it. The help desk employee confirmed my account manually for me.
