I cannot update my credit card expiration date.

hi paypal community,

my credit car expired last April, so i opted to get it renewed by my bank.

I got the brand new card 3 weeks later, the card had the same number but different expiration date, and CSC code.

so the next thing i did was update my card within paypal, logged in, clicked profile, Add/Edit Credit Card, Update expiration date, entered the required new information, clicked on save, then it showed me "You have successfully updated your credit card information."

but to my surprise my card expiration didn't update, still showed the red expired date.

what do i do now?

edit: (1 hour after typing this) That's weird...I can't put any credits in this card through my online bank, says it's not an active card. (it's a reloadable prepaid master card) i'll wait for a few days, i hope this is just a security feature? i've only just received the card this afternoon and came home testing it immediately with paypal.

This seems to be an urgent matter, so just phone PayPal customer service so they can look at your account detains and give you the best information to fix it.

Click on the contact link at the bottom of the page and select the phone call option with one-time passcode.

Problem solved last week.

reason: My **bleep** Bank forgot to tell me that i need to call them to verify activation.
