How do I Fax my bank statement of PayPayls deposits if the money was 'sent back'?

I got the email that PayPal made a deposit but my bank didn't recognize my account so the money was sent back? 
How could it get deposited in the first place then?
And how can I fax PayPal and prove to them that it's my bank account if the only think in my statement is

Welcome to the Community .

I am sorry you are running into these issues. To prove this is your bank account please fax a copy of your actual bank statement to the fax number that would of been provided to you in the email. If there was not an email address provided give PayPal a call, an agent will be happy to give you the correct fax number.
