Can you use the American Express Bluebird direct deposit info to get verified?

I was just wondering if you can use the American Express Bluebird card to get verified when you use the account number and routing number for your bank account? I tried and it's giving me an error message so I didn't know if they are just having problems right now or if you can't get verified

I am wondering the same thing.  I am switching to this account as my primary everywhere, but paypal, for some reason keeps giving me an error message when trying to link the account. 

"Sorry, we are not able to process your request. Please try again later."

is this the same as the American Express Serve card?  if so I am getting the same error message when trying to add as a checking account.  I linked the card just fine, but cannot get the bank account info to take.
