Adding a USD bank Account outside of the US

Hi There,

I'm hoping someone could let me know how to set this up, right now i'm signed up in the Bermuda Pay Pal country site with an address in Bermuda and when I try to add a Bank Account it only gives me an option for the Location as 'United States' with no option to change it. My Bank account is an HSBC account in USD.

Thanks.

Residents of Bermuda can only add a US Bank Account.

Note all countries have the same PayPal features and functions.  PayPal would be happy to be able to do that however, they must abide by each countries rules and regulations therefore, some countries end up with less features and options.

So what i'm understanding is that:

In order to add a bank account, the account must be located in the United States?

Meaning,

I'll be unable to add my HSBC $USD Account which was opened in Bermuda ?

Therefore,

I won't be able to add any bank to my profile, so I won't be able to withdraw my funds?

Or,

I'm able to add my USD bank account and the locations setting as "United States" is irrelevant?

Thank you kindly,

Per the info here, you can only add a US Bank Account, not one that is in your country.

I'm wondering if you've had any further success with this. I have the same problem. I'm Canadian, living in Mexico but have a US bank account but with an address in Mexico. I pay for a lot of online services which are payable in USD so I need an account in dollars, not pesos. But I run into the same problem. Had any luck getting a solution to this?
