PayPal Fee for Canadian purchase

Hi,

I just made my first purchase using PayPal.  The item purchased was located in Canada, is being shipped in Canada and is paid for in Canadian currency.  Why then have I received a separate charge on my account for what appears to be a PayPal fee?

Unfortunately we don't know, suggest contacting customer support direct with your concerns.   As this is member to member help forum, no one here can view account details or info.  Someone would need to look at the transaction.  For example, did you use the Send Money feature to pay or was this thru a web site or invoice?   If you used the Send Money feature and paid with a credit card, you would be charged an additional fee.  As you can tell, all we can do is speculate.

This same thing just happened to me. Yesterday. I woke up this morning to 30 some odd dallars out, and Paypals name attached to it.. Is it in your transaction list on PayPal? It isn't in mine. My bank account says Paypal withdrew money, but my paypal account doesnt!

Do you feel that you been robbed somehow?  I am following posts as such so to learn more about PAYPAL.  I am not sure if we are charged at all for any transaction we do online here and how much if so.  What do you know so far may I ask?
