Accepting Donations in India

Hi, I'm an Open Source software developer. I would like to add a donate button to my blog so that people can support my Open Source projects.

However, I came to know that PayPal Donate button is not allowed for Indian websites. I want to know why this restriction and if it would change in the future. Is there any work being done to enable donations in India ?

You can only accept 'export related payments' in your country.

Click on the link below and select the country you want from the drop down list for options available in that country.
