I sent an item using the Ebay Global Shipping system - Ebay sent me a mesage saying they had received the item and sent it to the seller. They then sent me an updated message saying that the seller had received the item their end. The seller then messaged me about a week later saying that they ahd not received their item. I said that I was away, but in anycase it had been sent via the Global Shipping Centre and to contact Ebay. On my return from Holiday I noticed that they had opened a dispute in Paypal for item not received. Is this fair as surely not my responsiblity as shold be Ebays from thie Shipping Centre. I did ask the Seller to contact Ebay but no response from them so far and its been over a week now. Really disappointed with both Seller and Paypal on this. Any suggestions please.

According to GPS it has been received at the sellers address. But Ebay has all the information, this is what Ebay have stated, hence the seller could not open case with them

It is your responsibility as a seller to deliver the goods in good order, whether you use USPS,Fed exp or Global shipping is not buyer concern.
You will have to inquire GSP why it is not delivered ,AND learn how GSP protect you from non delivery or damage.

opening a dispute with Paypal is not the same as opening a dispute with Ebay when it comes to GSP .
go to the case and see what you are expected to prove delivery, has Paypal withheld the payment in your Paypal account?
