Seller Protection & fraudulent buyers.

Hello everyone, am sorry to say that currently being scammed by a fraudulent buyer who is about to get not only away with the $270 payment but the item he purchased from me through eBay as well. At this point I must say that am very frustrated with PayPal. I can't believe they are just letting this buyer get away with his scam and there's nothing I could do about it unless I take this to court according to Paypal. I sold an item in eBay back in November 7 2017 and the item had a "30 day" warranty. The buyer opened a "not as described" case through his credit card company "55 days" after the item was delivered. (25 days after warranty expired) This buyer had more than enough time to make that type of claim during his "30 day" warranty period. Now because of this, my account had a $270 negative balance recently and most payment after that claim are now being held. I have been with eBay and Paypal for many years and I have a 100% Positive Feedback as I do good honest business. First I find it very unfair that there was no photos provided by buyer but more importantly, "requested by Paypal". No proof of claim is being requested and to make matters even worse there's NOT a "return request" of item as well by Paypal. Now I as the seller don't have the option to request for the item to be returned either. So basically am out $270 and item. How is this even possible? Sadly, I called eBay and spoke to one of their claims manager who I requested to speak to and was told that manager that this is unfair to me as a seller and how much they didn't agree with this situation but of course there's nothing eBay can do. The manager was very understanding and nice enough to offer me a $70 eBay coupon for my troubles. Of course I accepted the coupon as am already taking a big loss with Paypal but it is NOT the resolution I deserve or more importantly, it does not take care of this SCAM that buyers are now doing. I don't understand how Paypal can disregard "sellers warranty periods" and allow buyers to still be able to make such claims after that time period has expired. The fraudulent buyer obviously could not do the claim through eBay because eBay would have just decided in my favor considering the "Expired warranty period" as every other business would. Also, I don't understand how Paypal don't take the the initiative to demand for proof in such claims and even worse return the item. A few payment after this claim from other buyers are being held and then goes to the remaining negative balance. The time period for this to finally clear up is "75 days". Meanwhile I have to deal with help payments and have to reproof my self as a trusted seller. I guess all the effort I put into my business trying to keep a flawless eBay score was pointless in the end. Anyone could make a fraudulent claim, scam you not only out your honest earned money but the item that was purchased as well. They also can ruin your credibility with bogus claims and basically as a seller you have your hands tied waiting on a decision that seem to already been have decided.
