Refund automatically sent to old visa card I don't have anymore

How do I get the rest of my refund back? preordered something online and put a downpayment on this item back at the beginning of 2015.  The company is not making this product so they sent me a refund.  Paypal sent the money to the card I originally used through paypal which I don't have anymore.  How can I get this money? I don't owe anything on the old card there is no reason it should have gone there.

Refunds automatically go back to the card used to pay for the item BUT if the refund fails it ''should'' bounce back to your paypal account balance.

I would allow 30 days and if no sign give customer services a bell.

I also have this problem & it has been over a month. The refund sits in my activity but I cannot return it to my CC as that card is now cancelled. I do have a new CC on the paypal site. How do I return the funds to the new CC ?

REFUND ALWAYS GO BACK TO WHERE IT COMES FROM.

You should call whoever issued you the card and ask them to send you a check.

I tried that. They refused.

Do you mean the bank issue a check or the place I purchased the item.

No, that your card issuer to issue you a check for the credit balance.
