On ebay, if you buy something, a PayPal window will pop up and offer either to login to PayPal or to pay through your credit card. The transaction on my cc statement says "PayPal (ebayusername)" but the transaction doesn't show up in my PayPal account.
Do I still get purchase protection on it through PayPal?
If you paid as a 'guest buyer' then you can open a paypal dispute by phoning customer services OR do a chargeback via your card you funded the payment with.
