If there's a charge in your bank that doesn't correspond with your PayPal transaction history, you'll want to talk to a customer support representative who can search on your debit card number to see if it's been used to make a guest payment. If it has been used, that would mean that the card number is compromised and you can then take steps to have the card cancelled and a new card issued.
PayPal customer support can be reached a number of ways, but since a card number will need to be discussed, the best way to communicate with customer support would be phone.
