Can someone help me ? I bought using paypal and I was charged double. I received only 1 receipt from paypal. But I was charged double in my bank account. Any experts can help me ?
Contact merchant to check if they receive 2 payments. If so, tell them to cancel one of them. If not, contact your bank to reverse the duplicate charge.
Also so check if you have double charges listed in your PayPal account.
I tried contacting my bank. They said it should be the paypal who has to issue a return. Because the payments was receive by paypal. I can't contact paypal. How to contact paypal regarding the issue of double charged ?
I am going through the VERY same thing right now!! All of a sudden my bank account is showing 5 of my Paypal payments as well as in Paypal, so I've basically been charged TWICE!! This is insane!!! This has never happened to me before. I contacted Paypal and I am waiting to see what they say, probably some cookie cutter BS response. Technically Paypal should fix this, not the bank. I am now out double my money for FIVE transactions!! This is not good...
Did you contact the merchant though, to go to their account and refund the duplicate payments? I've had people pay me twice by accident before and they told me about it and I check my acct, see two payments and refund the duplicate payment.
They can't do that. Because the paypal didn't make a receipt for the duplicated charge. I have been charge twice but only have 1 reqceipt. Which makes it harder to get a refund,.
