Buyer claims he didn't receive item

Hello. I sold a brand new item thru eBay to a buyer in NJ. I shipped it with tracking # thru USPS. He is claiming he never got the item even though USPS confirms it was delivered to his house. Now he wants his money back thru PayPal. I provided tracking #. What else do I do so I don't lose this case and have to define him? Thanks

If he files a dispute and you have signature and tracking proof of delivery then you would more than likely win the case.

Chargebacks are more broader in coverage for the buyer than protection for the merchant.  However, if your transaction is eligible for chargeback protection under PayPal 's seller protection guidelines, PayPal may reimburse you the amount of chargeback and chargeback fee.  So check to see if you meet the requirements for that protection:
