My business offers services (lessons) which require pre-booking to assure an available time slot and instructor availability. I have had several instances in recent months (totaling 750.00) where the student missed the lesson completely, or cancelled without proper notice, and Paypal have given them a 100% refund.
My refund policy, clearly stated on the website, says that no refunds are offered on lessons, any missed appointments will be charged accordingly, and that there is a 100.00 per person non-refundable deposit if a refund is due. It is standard practice throughout my industry.
Is there anything further I can do to protect myself?
And why would Paypal choose to not support me as a long-time seller?
