Ok so heres the issue. I bought a pair of shoes from a man who said they were real jordans and also a size 9. Turns out the shoes were fake and even the wrong size. I opened up a dispute so i could get a refund but the man that since i did that he could recieve his online paycheck which goes directly to paypay. I then closed the dispute so he could recieve the money and now i am stuck on what to do. He is now not answering my messages. WHAT SHOULD I DO

Hi NJDevs21,

Oh no! I'm so sorry to hear that. A closed dispute cannot be reopened. It's so important to keep a dispute open until it's resolved, because otherwise PayPal has no idea that the problem still exists. If you feel that the seller intentionally defrauded you, there are some resources for reporting at the bottom of this article.

I wish you the best of luck in pursuing this outside of PayPal. I hope things get resolved. It's always possible that the seller was unaware that there was a problem and fully intends to make it right. Keep trying to communicate.
