I received an email, but not sure what to do; it uses a reference number and indicates I need to click on a link to supply more information.  It appears to be from PayPal, but I am hesitant.  It says: "Your information failed to be properly authorized, it has expired, or as been found to be on record under a different account."    I goes on to say my account could be suspended and a reactivation fee of $24.95 will apply.

Any suggestions as to why I received this if it is in fact legitimate?

I do not have any messages in my message box, etc when I logged onto my account.

Hi j804

This sounds like a typical phising/fake email

The email isnt from ppal

Ppal never ask u to click on links/downloads

Never ask for personal/sensitive info

Always address u as Dear Full Name

Always log in to ppal by the official site

If u ever click on a link from your private emails always change your password and security questions immediately
