Unfortuntely I've droped my 2 week old Moto G4 in the tub.
Can anyone tell me if the PayPal Debit Mastercard has protection for this kind of thing?

Some premium bank credit cards will include some sort of insurance, but not with standard cards. Check your card member agreement details to be sure.
