I sold an expensive item to a buyer in France. An invoice was sent and payment received within hours. The item was packed and booked for delivery and arrived in France less than 3 days after purchase but UPS have reported the buyer has moved and no contact can be made. I have had no other contact from the buyer, only the payment. Now my expensive item is in danger of damage due to excessive handling, what do I do here? Where do I stand on compensation if the item is lost, damaged or never gets to the buyer?
