How can I cancel a payment sent to Ebay Seller's "no longer used" account?

Hi Everybody,

I just bought a guitar on ebay and paid through ebay checkout.  The seller said it was his old account and he can't access it.  Can I cancel the payment or are there any other options in this instance?

What does it say in your paypal overview?

Does it say unclaimed and if so is there a cancel option next to it.
