Paypal Credit is not helpful to build credit.

I am very disappointed PayPal Credit does not report to the credit bureau to allow people to build their credit.  It is hard enough in life to work toward a great credit score and many of us use PayPal now.  We pay fees on transactions but cannot get any love when it comes to reporting our good payment history?  I really believe PayPal should re-consider this policy.  PayPal is used with so many merchants now and should be considered a valid pay/credit source when it comes to building credit lines.

PayPal Credit will report if you have a problem with your payments; there is no reason to report to a credit agency if trhere is no problem.

Best to use other credit cards if you want to buld credit.

If you can't get a credit card, then investigate the reason and start to fix the problem.

I agree. Credit is extended with PayPal Credit thru Comenity Bank. You would think that since it is, supposedly, an actual credit account thru an actual bank it would be reported to all the Credit Bureaus just like any other credit account. But, apparently, PayPal Credit is not interested in benefiting their customers in this way if it does not benefit them also. It makes me want to stop using PayPal Credit completely just because of this issue, and I've been a good customer of theirs for many years. It makes me angry that you can't seem get a legitimate answer from PayPal Credit as to why they don't or won't report to the Credit Bureaus. I bet if I run up a big bill and did not make payments on time or at all, they wouldn't hesitate to report that.
