Linking Paypal Credit (BillMeLater) problems....

I've searched this forum and found many older questions & complaints with no real answers on this subject.  So I'll ask again in hopes of a result...

I had a Paypal Smart Connect Account, which was closed by Paypal and switched over to their Mastercard.

I have a Bill Me Later account which I used frequently on higher priced eBay purchases in the past.

Ever since the switch from Smart Connect to the Mastercard, I'm finding I can no longer purchase anything with BillMeLater even though the icon is visible on auction listings and at checkout (just not able to click on it)

I'm constantly getting emails to link my BillMeLater account to Paypal.  I've tried..it won't let me.  It states you cannot link more than one account on Paypal.  I don't understand why I can't use either option to pay for eBay purchases.

I really do not want to phone a call center in India or the Phillippines  (most of the older posts state they get no where with these)

Is there anyone who can give a sensible solution for me to continue using either my Paypal Mastercard or BillMeLater at checkout?

You could phone PayPal customer service if you want a direct answer; it's the only option if you want a PayPal answer.

As far as I know, however PayPal does not offer different credit accounts.  This means you can have a PayPal Extras master card OR a PayPal Credit account, not both.

You would need to close the PayPal MasterCard credit account if you want to use PayPal Credit.

If you want to use a credit card for purchase, just use a non-PayPal credit card and keep the PayPal Credit for promottional features.

I don't know the procedure to close the MC and then make the PPC account active.  For those details you would need to contact PayPal customer service.
