Direct Deposit prior to activating Master Card

Can money be deposited through direct deposit to my account prior to receiving and activating my PayPal mastercard? I had money deposited already and I have not received my mastercard.

paypal business debit card or paypal prepaid debit card,both are MC.

if his card is the Paypal prepaid debit card,then he could deposit fund,and then if linked to his Paypal account,he can move the money back and forth.

The Paypal prepaid debit card has a monthly fee of $4.95
