Check capture in mobile app not working - account restricted?

When I tried adding a check using the mobile app's check capture feature, I got an error message saying "Adding your check failed: Account restricted." I called paypal support and they claimed it is a "known issue" and that they are working on it, but I am curious if anyone else has been encountering this problem.

I am also having this problem too with the PayPal app. I've sent the mobile team an email about it. My account isn't even limited or restricted when I checked it on the main site. Has to be something with the app.

Seems to be a glitch with the app.
All folks can do is open a Support Ticket as the more people that open a Ticket and actually document the issue, the higher priority on the fix it list it goes.

Same here. Tried two different checks from two different companies.
I use this feature maybe 1-2 times a month and it seems each month I always have a problem.
So add these extra days to the already long period of time it takes for these to clear and post to the account.

Well I am relieved to see it's not just me, albeit frustrated that I have to wait a few days for it to be fixed. I did enter a support ticket. Hope it will be fixed soon.
