Hey!

I have a payment issue and I'm not quite sure what to do or just wait it out.

So, the case is that I made a purchase from Lufthansa using Paypal as my preferred payment method. After hitting Pay Now I received an e-mail from Paypal saying that my order is placed but I did not get any e-mail from Lufthansa.

I logged in to my account at Paypal and there is a pending order saying "Your payment method will be charged when Deutsche Lufthansa AG completes your order."  I looked into the detailed version and I can't even cancel it.

My question to the Paypal Community is-

Do I need to worry about Lufthansa not processing my order? If so, is it OK to just book another ticket? Will I get charged for some random reason if Paypal cannot fund that first order from Lufhansa?

Other info about my Paypal account settings:

-I have a linked Debit Card

-I have a linked Bank Account

I'm asking all of these because I need to get a booking as soon as possible and my expiration date for said order is March 18, 2017. I don't think I can delay my purchase until then.

The airline is using AC2 (Order, Auth, Capture) method, the moment a buyer makes a purchase, money isn’t immediately deducted from their PayPal account. The transaction status will remain “ Pending ” until the merchant complete (capture) or void the transaction. They typically have 29 days to mark the transaction as complete or it will automatically cancel.

For most purchases, the seller will complete the payment within a few days of receiving the order or when the item is ready to ship. For some purchases, such as services, rentals, or hotel stays, the seller will complete the payment after your purchase is fully delivered. 

If you have concerns, contact the airline to confirm your purchase.

Did you get confirmation on your flight or had to book a new one after all? Same problem here..
