pending transaction

Bought an item through Ebay, item wasnt in stock,( 23rd august ) so seller hasnt taken my payment, but is still showing as pending in my paypal account,

when will it show in my available balance.

Does it say pending OR pending /unclaimed when you click to view it and if so is there a cancel option?

ok then the pending status should 'time out' at 30 days.

Sounds like the seller had an incorrect email address on his ebay auction and never actually received your payment.

You can contact your funding source eg bank or card issuer and tell them to negate the pending funds as they won't now be needed.

Has already been taken from bank account, just unclaimed/ pending in paypal,read somewhere it takes 30 days for it to drop off, still waitng for it to show in paypal balance.( over 30 days now)
