can't access my ebay gift card and no paypal help!!!!!!

I purchased one ebay gift card using paypal at Jan 15. This morning when I try to use it, the link told me:

It looks like this link is no longer valid.

Your gift sender may have sent a more recent link to another email address. Please check with your gift sender.

Anyone know how to get it back?

PS: what is wrong with paypay help? I called paypal digit card help number, there is only endless ad voice. I called paypal help number, and it kept asking me to input my phone number. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Exact same issue here.  I purchased 2 gift cards on 1/19/18, went to use them today (1/22/18) and got the same message you posted about.  I called ebay since I figured they were the runs issuing the gift cards.  I was told that the case has been sent to the gift card department and that they will generate new links for me to use the gift cards.  The kicker is it can take 24 to 48 hours... so I'm pretty much guaranteed to lose the item I want... awesome.
