Will Terms and Conditions in PayPal invoice protect me from charge backs?

Hello everyone,

I was wondering if I included a condition in my invoice that says something like, I have already received the service I purchased and I am 100% satisfied with it.

Or something to that extent, protect me from buyers who file disputes claiming they have not received the item, of course I'm not talking about disputes that claim unauthorized payment, but about those who file a claim after months from receiving the service.

I am a web developer and I offer intangible services, some buyers scam me, by filing a claim and saying they have not received the item they purchased. I understand there's no way for PayPal to resolve this issue. But if the buyer willingly accepted the terms and conditions that says he already have received the service and is satisfied with it, then I suppose his position will be weaker when he claims he has not received the item he purchased.

What do you think? Will PayPal support give any value to terms and conditions in their invoicing system.

It most likely won't help - because intangible, non-physical, items, including digital goods, and services are not covered under Seller Protection (which you are aware of).    And, there's nothing under Buyer Protection that states that if they purchase an intangible good or service that they would void their Buyer Protection and the final crush is - Buyer's have up to 180 days to open a dispute concerning a purchase.   Bottom line, regardless of what policy you have in place, PayPal can overrule as they have the final decision - which in many cases favors the Buyers.   Having said that, you should still include a statement which explains your policy - as it does keep the good people good and may have an affect on the not so good ones.
