Before when I sold an item on ebay it would have a description of what the item was I had sold on my Paypal transaction details page and also if it had been sold on Ebay it would have the item number. Now that space is just blank? I have around 50 differant items for sale on Ebay and also on my web site and it is now more time cosuming finding out what people have actually paid for...
The same thing is happening for me. When I look at a customer's transaction page the shopping cart contents are blank, I then have to look up their name in my email box to see their receipt and figure out what they paid for. I hope it's a temporary error. For about 3 days before this happened the totals in the cart were also displaying errors calculating multiple item costs (it was saying price $1 total even if they bought 3 of the $1 items). Please submit a ticket to paypal customer service and see if you can get someone on a fix.
Has this been resolved? My wordpress shopping cart successfully sells items and the paypal payment screen shows all the items in the left column. But after paying and checkout (and successfuly payment, email confirmation), I log into the payment transactions (as the Seller) and the Shopping Cart Contents is empty.
As of 05-29-2016 this problem is still happening for me. Shopping cart contents area on every transaction page comes up BLANK. I have contacted PayPal customer support through their help page, however I have not heard back from them. If you have not yet reached out to them, please write or call their help line if you have time to see if anyone is on a fix for this issue. Currently I can access the shopping cart list only by looking at my email receipt OR by clicking the PRINT LABEL option on the transaction page which then brings up a list of the items they bought with the label generator.
I just tested my transaction pages by accessing them in other browsers. I found that I was able to see all shopping cart contents in INTERNET EXPLORER 11, but NOT IN FIREFOX. If you have another web browser installed on your computer, or can download IE, this appears to be a temporary fix. If you are not using Firefox and are getting this error, please share with the forum which browser is conflicting. This could be a browser or Java issue.
