Shipping Forwarding Scam

Here's a new one. 10+ years selling on eBay and Paypal never fails to amuse me. Latest buyer scam. Actually pretty smart!

The buyer's confirmed Paypal shipping address was international. As you can only ship to the Paypal verified address, this is where the item was sent.

Buyer then claims item was never recieved and says has never seen the verified address with Paypal. I must have made it up he said...

Opens a claim and Paypal holds the funds per usual.

When submitting my info for the claim, I attached the Paypal page literally saying "Ship to:" and this address on the Paypal site under the buyers item.

Shipping shows it was delivered then sent out again to the Buyers home country of Austraila.

The whole time, this guy is emailing me through eBay messenger using the word scam probably 15 times per message in all caps, which is usually someone trying to scam you instead...

So this verfied address is clearly a forwarding address so the buyer can say the item was never recieved. Opens a claim, gets a refund, and gets the item delivered some days later. Paypal released my funds and blamed the shipper, but I will definetly be setting this up and giving it a try. Must be nice for these buyers to always win these clearly obvious disputes.

I think I might have a buyer trying to do this to me right now. Telling me I can ship it to his parents address in the states which is verified under his name, but he is overseas. Says he will get the item when his parents visit him overseas. I am reluctant to accept his offer on my ebay auction.
