So a couple of days ago I attempted to buy something but the seller accidentally gave me the wrong email address - Actually it was almost the same minus a year at the end of it - and the payment was apparently claimed. I spoke with someone on the phone at PayPal that took me step-by-step to open a dispute, and this morning I got an email saying this claim has been denied because it wasn't "unauthorized use or an transaction error". Now it won't let me open another dispute for what was probably the correct option for the type of case. I also emailed the person I sent the payment to to explain the situation without any response. I’m clueless as to what I’m suppose to do about all this aside from waiting around for this person to do the right thing, but my money is floating in limbo, and I can't by any menas afford to just let it go.
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.
Thanks!

You can call in an speak with a disputes agent, who can manually refile your dispute for you.

I've been having problems getting through to speak with someone again, but I'll definitely keep trying later on today. Thanks for the advice!

Let me know if you ever received resolution. Paypal denied my claim and I think it's ridiculous when an error is identified. I was notified a few minutes after I sent it to the wrong address, because of her error, and the person claimed it. As usual, another POS person that does not response and pockets money that doesn't below to them. Wondering if calling Paypal helped.
