Refund problem

I was suppose to receive a partial refund for something I bought for $10.00. I received an email saying that I got the refund, but when I go to my Paypal account it says that I have $0.00. I am a new user in PayPal, so am I missing something or is this a problem? Someone please help.

If you funded the original paypal payment to the seller with a debit or credit card then it won't go back to your paypal balance.

Once marked as completed it will automatically go back to your bank account or credit card but takes up to a week to process through to the bank and a bit longer for a c.c.
