I had placed a pre order for an item on Toys R Us' website which I was successfully charged for on October 27, it shows as completed in my transaction history and I confirmed that the money was taken from my bank account but the transaction also still shows as an authorization charge which is still pending on my transaction history. I am a bit confused as to why when I was already charged for the item and im hoping I wont be charged a 2nd time

When you pay a company (rather than an ebay seller or individual), then it is always pending until that company processes your order and captures the pending payment.
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.

so its normal for it to show as both pending and completed at the same time? I just thought it was odd for it to show up twice

I'm having the same issue. I made three purchases recently with PayPal Credit. All three purchases are listed as both completed and pending, and each has been deducted twice from my PayPal Credit Account. Does this mean I will be charged twice? Or will the duplicate charges be allowed to expire?

Authorizations should drop off after a while. If you are charged twice, contact the merchant for a refund. If you encounter problems with that, click report a problem link in transaction details.
Kudos & Solved are greatly appreciated. 🙂
