Payment sent then cancelled by recipient

I paid a request for $500. The payment said sent-pending on my end. It never was deducted from my bank account. After speaking with the recipient it was agreed that the payment would be cancelled. Now the transaction on my end reads payment sent-cancelled. Can the recipient go back and accept the payment again? Or is the transaction closed completely?

once it is cancelled,it is cancelled.the only way to receive the payment is to send you another invoice or money request.
