Payment not yet accepted help

I sent a money to a friend from my linked bank account and it has come out of the account but hasn't gone to the receiving account for days. My account says "not yet accepted". Not sure whether it's going to a paypal account or a bank account. Receiving party doesn't know what to do.

Well i don't think it would say 'not yet received'.

Surely it would say pending / unclaimed and if so with or without a cancel option???
