Payment Problem Via Paypal Email Address

Hello
I am a contributor on a certain stock footage company which pays royalties to
its contributors. I signed up to receive these royalties via my PayPal email
Recently, having earned a royalty, an accounting official from the said company
told me that she attempted to pay me via PayPal without success. She told me
that PayPal said that she had to go to my website and pay me through that.
Unfortunately, I don't have any website so I have not yet received my payment.
I wonder why she was asked to pay me through a website. What I know  is that in
order to send funds from one PayPal account to another you would need the other
person's email address. Once you have their email address all you will need to
do is click on the "send money" tab and enter the details.
Please help me to solve this payment problem via Paypal.

I have tried to contact Paypal but in vain because the message centre page does not function properly!

About a week ago the sender told me that she successfully sent me my payment. Unfortunately I'm not seeing the money anywhere in my account and have not yet received any notification. Can anyone shed any light on this please?

What information did the send provide to show proof of payment?

Why do you believe the sender?

I have not received any proof of payment from the sender.

I just believe the sender because she is an accountant with a reputable company in the US.

Yes, I was expecting a payment. The sender just said that the payment went through successfully.

If there is no transaction in your PayPal account, then it did not go through.

How does the send claim to have paid?  What procedure did the sender use to send?  Did  you provide an invoice to the sender?
